Available Positions

Welders (Central Alberta)

Responsibility and Authority:
  • Become C.W.B. certified at the first available opportunity in the welding processes required
  • Maintain quality of your finished product
  • Ensure all equipment used is maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications
  • Ensure all welds and processes carried out meet the C.W.B. requirements
  • Maintain work area cleanliness
  • Meet reasonable productivity standards
  • Follow the direction of your supervisors to carry out miscellaneous responsibilities
  • Ensure that your time and Job number is accurately entered into Job Boss
  • Ensure safety precautions detailed in your safety briefing are followed, including safe work practices and procedures
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor

 

Machinist (Central Alberta)

Responsibility:
  • Review drawings and instructions for accuracy. Ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate
  • Count the quantity of parts supplied for work order and notify Lead Hand if there are any discrepancies
  • Upon completion of 1st piece on each batch inspect part to drawing requirement
  • Use only calibrated/verified measuring instruments
  • Ensuring quality workmanship
Primary Duties:
  • Completed work is to be neatly de-burred, free of chips, and accompanied by all associated documentation
  • Operate your machine & assist with operation of other machines when required
  • Safe and careful handling of material
  • Clean & maintain machines and work area as assigned to you
  • Clean & maintain work areas
  • Make sure you are ready for your next job think ahead
  • Ensure machine evaluation filled out daily
  • Check quality of parts to ensure quality is always maintained
  • Operate your machine & assist with operation of other machines when called upon

General Labourers (Central Alberta)

Primary Duties:
  • Able to work well with other employees
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Versatile for a variety of projects
  • Ensure safety practice and procedures are followed
  • Work unsupervised
  • Work area cleanliness
  • Meet reasonable productivity standards
  • Ensure accurate time entry completed with Job number, description of work and time spent
  • Miscellaneous duties as required by Supervisor
